Zappos.com, the best site I've ever shopped

Among the many web sites I shop at there is one that is so spectacular it is mind boggling. On service, prices and selection this site is far above anything I've come across. 

I basically shop sneakers here. My sister has no computer so I order her stuff for her at Zappos.com as well. As an example of their stellar service I have to explain my most recent experience. I was caught in a torrential rain storm in new Zappos sneakers. They were soaked, I was soaked. I figured the sneaks were shot so I went to Zappos.com to order a new pair.  When I finished placing my order I had a few questions so I called Zappos directly and just happened to mention why I needed this new pair. The gal I spoke to was completely compassionate and offered to give me $25.00 off my new order!!! Amazing!  I would never have expected any company to be so understanding and generous, after all, it wasn't the sneakers that had anything wrong with them, it was how I had used them. 

This company offers two way free shipping. There is no charge for the order and no charge if you need to return them. They also give you free over nite shipping. This is a Holiday week end so my shipment will be sent Tues and I can expect to get it Wed. I had called just to see what the ship date was and that's what I was told, again, amazing!.  They also offer a one year warranty. One more amazing practice on their part. Where else can you buy a piece of clothing and get a back up like that? 

They offer boots, flats, clogs, mules and more wedges, sandals, slippers and in sizes for narrow or wide feet. For men they offer sneakers, oxfords and sandals. They offer a huge selection of top brands, Michael Kors, Nike, Steve Madden, Perry Top Siders, Cole Haan, Le Sportsac, Brighton (a personal fave), Converse, Timberlanes, Crocs, Docksiders, Asics, Mephisto, Naot, Stride Rite, Clarks and they aren't just offering shoes they offer mens clothing in men's big & tall, petite women clothing and womens, womens plus, childrens and maternity clothing. You can find  sunglasses, jewelry and watches. They sell make up (Stila, Lola and more), housewares, pocketbooks and more. They have a rideshop area, running shoe section, couture and outdoor section, Diabetic shoes and eco friendly shoes. I purchased all my Mom's (Diabetic) diabetic approved shoes here.  

The site offers you a measurement guide and size conversion chart which is extremely handy. I've found it to be very accurate. Shopping online at Zappos. com means clicking on the item desired, adding it to your "shopping cart" and just following the prompts. Any problems you can call Customer service and speak to someone in English or Spanish.

This is an easy to use site, extremely consumer friendly and a site that offers a tremendous selctions of brands.

Gift certificates are available. You can get EGift certificates as well as gift cards. You can use Paypal. All information is encrypted using a "Secure Sockets Layer" to protect your personal data. You can be placed on a notification list by giving your email address and you will be emailed when something new and wonderful in the brand you are interested in comes available. If you use a Visa card there is a rewards program.

Customer Service is available 24/7.  Customer service is made up of live, friendly, humans who know what they are doing and take care of you personally with great empathy and top of the line personal service. If you are experiencing a problem they handle it with incredible speed. Their across the board customer care is so spectacular I would never bother shopping in a brick and mortar store without checking on Zappos.com first.
