The ordering experience was fine. I find it difficult to answer the questions in your survey as this purchase was a Christmas gift and I won't know the condition of the glasses etc. until they are opened on Christmas Day. I guess I would have to say.....So far so good.

My dealings with Wine Enthusiast were very satisfactory. I ordered some small items and I got them promptly. Filling out questionaires related to such a trivial transaction is a waste of time. It took longer to fill out the surveys than to place the order.

The shopping experience with Wine Enthusiast Online is a breeze, it's the after you pushed the button process that is horrendous. We waited longer than expected for $6k worth of wine refridges to come, had them scheduled and to our surprise they had delivered the wrong units. That being sorted out eventually we had no issues until one of the two Eurocaves experienced a fault. Biggest problem Wine Enthusiast is the only distributor and they have NO clue how to service these items. After 3 weeks we were finally sent a repairman who has NEVER seen or worked on the Eurocave as of now still no response from WE and our 4 month old wine fridge is not working. AND THEY SAY THEY ARE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDERS....HAH!

This was the second identical item I got from Wine Enthuisiast. I couldn't be happier with the service, selection, and price. Their website it would take 4-6 weeks for the product to ship and we received the item in a little over 3 weeks.

No major problems. The albums which I use have changed over the years. I seem to have a cellar record type now rather than the label collection type I originally had. Both work pretty well but in the future I will probably inquire by phone before ordering, or try ordering by phone.

For some reason, their web site "decided" I ordered two (2) and it was very difficult changing my order to one (1). A less experienced internet shopper would have been billed for two...and had the hassle of returning one, etc.

Site was great. Only problem was I didn't know until check-out that the towels I ordered as a gift were on back-order. Fortunately they arrived on time.

One of the items I purchased was on back order, the chardonnay brittle..the other item, the chocolates, were NOT. Since the chocolates were the bulk of the gift I was purchasing, I decided to place my order, which was a gift for my boss. The backordered chardonnay brittle ended up shipping right away and made it to my boss in time for Christmas. The chocolates, which were NOT on back order, have yet to ship despite being ordered on 12/16/06. Their status remains "at drop shipper". This needless to say, is frustrating and embarrasing (n front of my boss). The selection of unique gifts is what attracted me to this site, but based upon this experience, I would not make a purchase from this company again.

Be careful of false advertising!
I tried to buy a wine cellar from these guys. The product page said the item had free shipping (a $375 dollar value.) When I got to the final page it incorrectly showed the shipping fee. I called the store and talked to someone who said they would get the issue cleared up and call me back in 5 mins. I waited over a hour and called again. To my surprise they had no idea what I was talking about. It also turns out that someone had changed most of the web pages that referred to the sale (but not all.) The only reason I was considering buying this cellar was it was onsale with free shipping. I find it very underhanded to advertise a special on other sites, and then when someone tries to buy, remove the offer and pretend it did not exist. I would be very weary of trusting a web site that will not stand behind what they have printed.

The box received contained two sets of wine glasses. I was very worried upon receiving this severely damaged box. The box was clearly marked "Fragile- Glass". I was even more concerned upon opening the box. The contents were at the bottom of a oversized box with alsolutely no packing. Surprisingly, the sets were completely intact.
