Pricier items, and most of them are worth it! Easy to use site

Again, I don't have a Williams Sonoma store near me (about an hour away)so I rely heavily on the online store.

Looks and Layout:
This is one of the cleanest, finest online stores I have encountered. Because this is more high-end, I expect that and I get it. The front page has a bit of color, but nothing overpowering. Very welcoming.
You get the easy shopping tag at the top that drops down to reveal their categories like: new items, specials, cookware, books, tools, gadgets, tableware, sale etc. Very self-explanatory and easy to read. Click on whatever you want to go to and you are there. If you want to search, you can just enter a search word and it gives you plenty of product options. Since my kitchen is orange, I'll enter orange and get many great options.

Products:
Wide variety of products in each area. Whatever your style, you can find something. You can get very top-quality items in tableware and linens or lower, still great quality items in gadgets and towels. I am in love with their towels. I have ordered 10 packs of their towels and keep them on-hand. BUt they last forever and wash so great, that I still have some in storage! I order a lot in my color because they offer seasonal colors in towels, so I never know if my color will come back...that's one disappointment I can live with. Same thing with their Kitchenaid, spatulas and other special products--colors disappear and never reappear...
All and all, high quality no matter what I have ordered.

Cost:
You have to expect to pay more. While I can catch some of my towels or spatulas and other items in the sale, most items don't go on sale and you pay a high price for them. For some products, I don't mind, but for some, like their specialty food line, I just can't justify the cost. Expect to pay for what you get.

This place also has a registry that you can send gifts through. Good presentation to recipient--I've had compliments. It's costly, though.

Shipping is expensive, but I usually get it on time or early so I don't mind the charge most of the time.

Check out is easy because they save all my info--click, click, click and it's on its way!

overall, this is a great sight to use, and the products are great, but on the expensive side. I only order when I need something, otherwise I'd go broke!
