West Elm as a company sucks and needs to get their act together.
I loved my experience with sales associates in the store but the company itself is disorganized. No one over the phone told me about "design dollars" I could have earned off my $3000 purchase until I walked in the store but the people in the store couldn't do anything because the store, online, and phone work as separate entitities. I called the phone people and they said there's nothing they can do about it...even talked to a supervisor. I missed out on $250 which I'm upset about. If they told me during my phone order that I could have earned $250 if I opened up a card, I definitely would have done that.
In addition, when I ordered my furniture, it was delivered one at a time (6 items) instead of all at once. I had to stay home six times to accept the deliveries. They do that to save space in their own storage spaces but I asked if I could get them delivered all at once and pay delivery only once and stay home only once. They said they couldn't. I'll never order more than one furniture item again, maybe never order at all. It was too much of a hassle. And they do nothing to make it up to you.
