VS Signiture Underwear are of VERY POOR QUALITY

VS has been my favorite on-line store by far...The promo coupons are awesome and customer service has always been very fair and accommodating. I find most pieces to be of quality and that is saying something today. I just bought a Ralph Lauren sleep shirt for $18.oo On Sale, and after only one washing the stitching is falling apart. However,VS sleep-shirts that I have had for many years are still holding together just fine! Their bra's are by far my favorite and thus far I have not had any issues. Their underwear however are another unfortunate story altogether...I usually buy a batch of 5-10 every couple years or so when on sale for- 5 for $25. Except last year 6 out of 10 were literal junk!!! Either the color faded abnormally quick or they fell apart after just one wash (elastic banding unraveled creating holes). Now I exchanged them and the replacements did the same as well! Colors like Light/Sky blue...forget it, they look dirty white in a minute. Usually the inside band fades first, then the front, followed by the outside bands. My heather grey pair looks grey and beige:( yuck! This year I decided to try it again. The 'Blue Trees' looked so pretty I just had to have them. I wore them ONCE, last night, not for even 10 hrs. and this morning to my dismay and disappointment, one frontal side has already faded completely!!! Imagine what will happen when washed? More like whitish-blue blurrs, not trees! *Oh and No I did not have on any lotions or powders etc..that could have caused this rapid fading. This also happened to new the 'Buff' pair I wore two days ago too! Now I know they would replace them in a heartbeat as the are very accommodating that way. But why bother when they will most definitely do the same again? Its obvious that they are using very cheap dye and heat from your body oxidizes/fades it. Note: I always wash my UW in tepid water and line dry. In other words I'm very careful with my laundering. Especially w/UW at $5-10 each. ***Also this is their Signiture Cotton-low rise bikinis. Not the Pink line, I have a few thongs of Pink and they have held up fine). I also have tons of old UW of VS from like 10-15 yrs ago and the colors are still vivid and no holes anywhere (granted though the elastic has lost shape)!! I noticed everything they make is made in different countries. The old UW of real quality was made in the USA(imagine that?) The new stuff is made in Sri-Lanka, or Mexico, sometimes Indonesia...Though I have clothing from VS as well that is imported (isn't everything today?) and most has held up fine. So I don't understand...I can't be the only one who has this problem??? Last year I called and wrote letters about the change in quality of the UW and I was hoping they would improve it but it obviously fell on deaf ears :( This time I will  Return all of them for a refund, instead of playing the futile exchange game again. (BTW- I have Hanes from Target that have lasted longer...yeah, longer than one day! I believe they were 3 for $7.99-lol.) Bottom line- most clothing from VS is of good quality, with the exception of their UW- Pun Intended ;)
