Poor service, poor shipping, worst case scenario for online shopping.
I ordered an LG 3D HDTV from Vann's thru Amazon.com on nov. 11. It's now nov. 23rd and still no tv. I have company coming for the thanksgiving weekend and this was supposed to be a big part of the weekend. I was assured by an employee of Vann's (Nick) that it would arrive by friday the 18th or monday the 21st at the very latest. I called their shipper (HomeDirectUSA) on tuesday, the 22nd, and was told a local agent had received it on monday at 4:10 pm. I asked why I hadn't been called to set up a delivery and he couldn't tell me but assured me that he would call the next morning with more info for me. That was today and guess what, yep, no call. I just got off the phone with another employee of HomeDirectUSA and was told the local agent hadn't received it yet. Go figure. Their website's automatic tracking system claims that it hasn't even been picked up from Vann's yet but another page shows it being picked up on the 15th with no further tracking information. Just how long does it take to drive from Kentucky to North Carolina? I have been promised a second follow up call from this shipper but I'm not holding my breath. Won't do business with
