Unfortunately, unlike the previous glowing reviews of this company - I must present the dissenting vote. I found this company to be extremely difficult to order from - and unresponsive to customer complaints. Despite their rather high price points for items - their customer service does not meet the most basic expectations for on-line shopping. (And, I do a LOT of on-line shopping so I know what a customer should expect as a baseline of service.)
Items are frequently unavailable as advertised - or back-ordered over a month at a time (even products featured on the cover of their print catalog - and the splash page of their website.) Complaints and comments are met with stony silence. Such lack of concern on their part (even a form response email would have sufficed) - leads me to believe that they are not interested in keeping me as a customer.
I will NOT shop with TravelSmith again - and am advising all of my friends, co-workers and family to avoid this company. Similar items may be found with other on-line retailers - at comparable, if not better prices - and with far superior customer service. In short - I recommend shopping elsewhere.
