FRUSTRATING and misleading....
Full Review
TigerDirect was suggested to me by a computer friend but I'll never order from them again. A day after I placed my order (which I will have to admit was pretty easy), I received an e-mail stating everything I ordered was on backorder. I began to get frustrated because when I ordered, their website stated the items were 'in-stock.' I called the customer service number to find out an estimated re-stock time and was told that they were doing inventory and not even taking new stock in, as well as the fact there were well over 100 backordered. She told me that inventory would be over next week and that no one could tell me anything before then. I then spent the next hour tracking down my items from another vendor (spending $20 more total) and called Tiger to cancel. The man that answered was totally unsympathetic, cancelled the order (which was done with no fuss), and proceeded to tell me that the lady I spoke with earlier had no idea what she was talking about. Inventory would be done Monday and the items were in-stock. So, different info from different people, a web site that is inaccurate, an e-mail system that is misleading, and customer service that is unhelpful at best. A lot can be solved if a company has good customer service, but Tiger does not. I'm now a disgruntled ex-customer.
