Lesson learned as I pay for another's mistake...

I ordered a Sony DSC-W220 digital camera from this company about a month ago. Once received, I clearly had a used item. I glanced back at my receipt and noticed the words "new-used" but before finding myself completely dumbfounded, I made sure to check the original web advertisement of my purchase. After a thorough search by myself and not one, but two web browsers via "Control-F", no words of this item being used or previously opened were to be found...
I contacted the company about a refund with this exact information including a direct link to the web advertisement and I immediately shipped the item back via priority mail. In return I was told "I won't bother you with the 20% restocking fee for non-defective returns as long as you agree to a refund minus the cost of shipping both ways." At this point, I had already chosen to send the item back at my own expense and felt it would only be right if they met me halfway and refunded the original shipping costs of an item that was insufficiently and/or wrongfully advertised. I honestly don't understand how a company could possibly charge some steep restocking fee for an item that was already USED in the first place anyway...
The latest response explains to me that it was clearly stated as "new-used" and that they will not be refunding me any more than the base price. I immediately went back through my emails to copy and paste the direct link to resend them along with my response. Upon doing so, I look at the page to re-re-recheck and see that the item is up for sale again. Now, not only does it show the actual condition terms of the item, but it also shows a roundabout $6 price increase. The proof of my argument has been altered to resale the item and I am left to feel like a fool I guess for not taking "screenshots" of my purchase. I never felt that this would ever be necessary but it's a lesson learned and I am out of about $20 for shipping both ways and a very slow "rush processing" with absolutely nothing to show for it.
