I would say the best online store by far.I have purchased a few items from target.com and I am very pleased. Setting up an acount with them took no time at all they e-mailed me all of my account info right away.My items have always been shipped out the next day.Target packages all of their items very nicely and in oversized boxes to prevent any damages that might occur during shipping.Their prices are hard to beat as well.very pleased you should look for something you need right now if you don't believe me.

Ordering was easy. Received a confirmation and shipping notice within 1-2 days. Package did not arrive after 2 weeks. 2 messages sent to Target.com. Replies basically said, it should come soon. After second message, Target says they will refund my shipping fee. Finally saw the package moving on UPS tracking yesterday (just picked up from facility) a full 16 days after order. I don't plan on using them again.

I've shopped at Target's online store about five times, and every time has been very easy and quick for me. There is an awesome selection of items available online, especially if you're looking for things that aren't available in stores. The shipping time is very quick, and the prices are quite good. They also have specials and discounts which are good incentives to shop online. I've always gotten exactly what I ordered, and it arrived in perfect condition and as it was represented and described on the website.

Over the past few months I have found myself at my local Target store at least once a week. There are three Targets within a five to ten mile radius of me. There always seems to be something I need to pickup or i forgot to get on my last trip. Having so many Targets so close I previously never considered Target.com. One day i wasn't feeling well and decided to give the on line store a try. While I liked the convenience of shopping from home I wasn't overly impressed with my experience. Unlike in the stores it's hard to find those great bargains on line. A little hard to determine the item you want if you know the general product but aren't sure what brand. Shipping doesn't take too long. And Target.com does offer on line exclusives that are nice. In the end I prefer the physical store to the on line one.

We ordered a 4 pc leather living room set. Although there was an initial delay from the original promised delivery date, Target was very helpful and supportive. They even refunded part of my shipping fees. Overall we are satisfied with our purchase

I wanted some bookshelves that I saw online, and ordered them. They arrived in perfect condition earlier than the delivery date. I was very pleased with the result. I love the bookshelves and was happy with quality and efficiency of the service.

For years I was a loyal Target shopper. No more!! I purchased a $100 microwave just a few months ago, the 90-day store return policy expired 2 weeks ago and I discovered yesterday that the microwave has a big crack inside.
They refuse to exchange it for the same model (which they still carry) and transfer after transfer after transfer I was told they just 'sell' the merchandise, after 90-days they are no longer responsible for it!!

I purchased 2 bath rugs that started looking shabby and the edging was fraying after just one month. I went to Target to return them (since I considered them defective and they were on sale for $40). They will not accept anything that is considered "used". I asked "what if I purchased a blouse that I wore one and it ripped?" The reply was "if it's used, we don't take it back!" I've NEVER hear of a worse return policy and insisted that I speak with a manager. The manager was contacted via walkie talkie and eventually said I could exchange the rugs for the same thing. I did this (knowing that the rugs would do wear).
Within a month, I went back with my rugs (tags still on) and returned them!

Honestly compared to other major department stores, like Nordstorms, I can't say Target is not up there. It's not amazing, but if I were to be asked to either shop at Wallmart, or Target, who do you think I would choose? Wallmart, No silly, Target. Great value, ease of clean stores, easy navigation, friendly workers for the most part, and unlike Wallmart, a bit more educated.

This year was my first time experience of shopping on line at Target.
I placed my Christmas order the end of November and waited and waited and waited. Upon tracking my order and finding it had not shipped, I became concerned and contacted the company. I received an email that said my order would ship between January 11-29 of 2007. Becoming frantic, I contacted Target again to let them know that this was a CHRISTMAS GIFT and January would be TOO LATE! A company spokesman reassured me there was a mistake and my order would be on time for Christmas.
Well guess what? Come Christmas morning I had NO gift for my loved one! I am still waiting! Maybe if I am lucky, I will receive in time for Valentines Day and make it as a Valentines Day gift instead.
Target will not be getting my business ever again after this horrible nightmare experience.

completely dissatisfied with Target online. although ordering was easy, receiving the purchase in a timely manner is not. ordered an item on Dec 8, received tracking info on the Dec 14th, tracking showed no movement from warehouse until Dec 20th still has not arrived as of Dec 23. contacted Customer service several times during this process and received canned responses stating that the package was sent out on the 14th....poor poor poor. Certainly not a good experience

The only positive thing I can say about this merchant is that the phone support is good. Other than that, this store lied to me that an item was in stock and then never met the shipping date after several promises. I will never order from them again. If the item is not in stock, why offer it for sale?

I ordered Christmas presents for my kids on Nov. 14. I had problems with Target.com being able to process my order. For 4 WEEKS my order trickled in. During that time I continuously got emails from Target.com telling me that various items would be delayed (some it said wouldn't be delivered until January!). 5 WEEKS after placing the order I'm still missing an item. I will never order from them again.

I was very disappointed with the shipping of a crib set that I recently ordered. In fact, I ended up cancelling the order after 7 calls to customer service. I was told that there is no such thing as putting a "rush" on shipping (that was my 6th call) & that no one in customer service had communication with the shipping department. I am now bidding on the same bedding set on ebay. Wal Mart, on the other hand, had VERY quick shipping of the crib & changing table that I ordered. Both are great quality, less expensive, AND got here 4-5 days before their scheduled delivery date. I told the Target customer service people that if I had it to do over, I would not take my business to Target.com.

Very nice website. Easy to order and the shipping is quick. The Shabby Chic line is very nice from Target (I normally order her expensive linens). I will definately purchase more Shabby Chic items from Target.

I am extremely disappointed in Target. I ordered a lamp over 2 months ago. I am not able to cancel the order. They have not shipped the order. I just keep getting an e-mail every 2 weeks stating that the item has been delayed. There's no reason for the delay. And again, I am not able to cancel the order.

In all honestly, I shop online a lot. I am a working mother of 2 little girls. I don't have much time to go shopping. When we do go shopping, we are loyal Target shoppers. But again, not much time. So I wanted to keep that loyalty by shopping online.

But whenever I am on a site (amazon.com) and they say the item will ship from Target, I purposely do not choose that item. I will not shop at Target Online again.

1. Never received item.
2. No way to cancel item, even though it was never shipped.
3. No explanation.

Bad customer service.

Bad experience. Ordered a chair with ottoman, 9/15, never got any updating emails. Had to check order status myself several times. Tracking showed the item shipped out from a warehouse, then went all over the East coast, ending up in NH - not where I live. Hard to get to customer service. On 10/10 finally did, asking where the chair was. The rep said "this is over my limit" and said he was filling out some form for his "lead." After being put on hold and pushing for some answers, the rep said the item would be "replaced" and then after my pushing some more, he said it was actually out of stock now, and Target would decide whether to replace it or refund my money. Target wasn't able to say if and when the chair would be in stock again, and they weren't able to replace it with a different color chair that might have been in stock. Of course I demanded the refund. What a pain in the neck.

Beware of the "your order has shipped" letter from Target, the one that says standard UPS shipping is 3-5 business days. I got that letter on a Friday. UPS record says they got request to pickup package on the next Tuesday, that delivery may be two weeks from the day I got the shipping notice. That is 11 business days.

Tried to order 6 of those stackable, folding lightweight mesh sweater dryers for 11.99 a piece. When I got to checkout the shipping charges were in excess of $55--that's OVER FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS for SHIPPING! I quit that order in a hurry, and I hope it was a mistake. I've emailed them an inquiry but haven't heard anything yet...
