Target Shipping Problems
I am so livid with Target I could spit!! On 8/24, I ordered a $50 gift card for a baby shower through online ordering. The same day I also ordered a baby stroller with carriage ($180). Within an hour of ordering, I then received a phone call from Target asking that I verify my personal ordering information. After being placed on hold for five minutes listening to that annoying Target jingle at full blast to the point of distortion, the Service Rep returns to the phone to confirm that the order will be shipped (both stroller, carriage and gift card). The stroller/carriage arrived within two days, but as of today (12 days later), the gift card still has not. On 8/26, tried logging into Target.com to check the order, and the site was down (24+ hours) for an upgrade. The following day, was able to sign in only to find the gift card order showed "Not Yet Shipped". Phoned an annoying customer service rep who, AGAIN, placed me on hold for 5 minutes listening to that annoying, blasting, distored Target jingle. He returns to the phone to say "the card is being shipped tomorrow, and we'll send you an email". That was four days ago. As of today, the card still has NOT been shipped and an email has NOT been received. Phoned customer service back today only to receive a recorded message that their system is down. As of today, I have waited 12 days for a $50 gift card to be mailed. When logging into target.com today, it still shows ... "Not Yet Shipped". Was the order shipped to China for them to make the gift card? Furthermore, their newly enhanced website sucks, it's slow as a snail, and their search feature is really bad!!
