A great selection for everything golf, and an easy to use website. Their inventory is usually chock full of the latest and greatest, and they run very good sales promotions. Their prices, despite their claims, are not always the best, though they certainly run with the upper echelon of price cutters. I view this site as the one in between Golf Smith (All the Latest and Greatest) and Rock Bottom Golf (Super discounts on last years makes, and discontinued models) . Basically, you get a wide variety of choices, and they usually have the newer items out before most people on the net. In this sense they are like Golf Smith though Golfsmith often has the new stuff in stock a little sooner. The fact that they are usually cheaper than a lot of folks reminds me of Rock Bottom Golf--though I must say on an item per item basis--if Rock Bottom has it---it will be cheaper there. Basically, TGW is the site to go to if you want a discount on the latest and greatest.

Customer Service is usually pretty good here. Like many internet companies, they've had their fair share of horror stories. Even so, my Son in Law had to have the Latest and Greatest Driver about a year and a half ago, and this is where the story gets good.  It was Mid June and he called TGW. As this was a special order model he asked about availability. The customer service rep told him that they could have it in a couple of weeks, but if he'd wait another week to order it he could save 35% off the price he was about to pay because the 4th of July Sale was coming up. ---Now how many times has a company told you --"Yes we want your business. We'll take it now, but we're willing to wait, and even give you a discount for it if you do si?" ----To top it all off--this was a special order item!---I have never seen or heard anything like that before or since from an on line vendor. When he did order it--he not only got the discount--but the shipping was incredibly fast and the item was well packed. Until then I have only oredered minor things from them on an irregular basis. I was always happy with the product, shipping, and service. They really earned my respect with the way the treated my Son In Law! (This is a Lean and Mean Entry)
