I ordered Childlife 6 bottles of each Multivitamin, C and 6 Dha.  When I received the catron in a condition that was mold and dacay outside and orange yellowish watery inside. Four bottles of Multivitamin are useless.  One was empty.  One's cap was broken into two pieces.  The others showed heavy leakage.  I had to dump these four bottles.  All plastic bottles of dha was yellowish and mold on their paper label.
I email this issue 5 times continually for a month and hear nothing from Swanson.  I don't think Swanson's policy that is 100% customer satisfaction guarantee is true.

After ordering my Prenatal Vitamins, I received the wrong order in the mail a few days later.  I contacted customer service, and they told me that in order to get my shipment corrected, I had to first ship back the wrong order, or pay for the second shipment of my vitamins myself.  After asking to speak to the customer service rep's supervisor for this surprising response, she finally came back and said they would ship my vitamins out via second-day air.  Well, that was on a Tuesday and according to UPS, I will not be receiving my vitamins until Monday, almost a week later.

For something that was the company's mistake, they should be bending over backward to make their customers happy, not the other way around.

Products and prices are ok but their customer service is terrible.  Had a problem with their ordering system so I called to cancel the order.  Was the order had been cancelled only to see the charge go thru to my credit card.

I contacted them again and they still claimed no charge had been made even when I notified them that was not correct.  I eventually had to get my bank involved to get my money back.  Terrible experience and attitude on their part.

I have since been using Puritan Pride and iHerb.  Prices just as good or better and no problems.  Best advice is to stay clear of Swanson unless you want to experience what I had to go through.

Biggest waste of time EVER. I bought 7 boxes of protein bars for an amazing price on amazon and they did NOT honor the price I bought the items at. They also shipped me completely different items and not the ones I ordered. Additionally, they also gave me a run around, said too bad and I'm waiting for a refund of my money. I will NEVER shop with this company again. I spoke to customer service and they said that if I provided proof they would honor the price of the items I purchased. They didn't. So I say, STAY AWAY!

I thought I'd try Swanson as I usually use Puritan Pride.  Swanson had some products that looked good so I thought I'd give it a shot.  Well come to find out they use some shipping company called  Parcel Pool to handle any orders shipping out of continental USA.  I'm in Hawaii.....indeed it is part of the USA so I'm not sure why they don't use the USPS since they ship here very promptly.  Well come to find out that indeed Parcel Pool takes the product from the warehouse, then delivers it to USPS in my home town and then USPS is supposed to deliver it.   Eight(8) days later I have not seen my product. 

I'd recommend anyone needing products quickly from them and livng outside the continental USA to plan ahead or use another company.  In my case, terrible service.  They say if not received with in 7 days of shipping...they will ship another order.  They did not do that either.  

They may have good products, but if they can't deliver them to me......why should I order?

I ordered $40 worth of vitamins last night and received the package TODAY without expediated processesing and just regular ups shipping. I've been ordering from swanson for a year now and only once they forgot one of my items. I called up costomer service and they quickly resolved my issue without even questioning me. I didn't even need my order confirmation number on hand. I also got to speak with an american human and not a robot. I highly recommend this company.

I'm basically satisfied with their service and
products. Unfortunately they (like other companies)
don't tell you about possible side effects some
supplements may have. They just want to
sell, sell sell. For example, I didn't know
too much Folic Acid (a B vitamin) might be bad
for you. This has to do with cancer. I just
finished throwing my bottle in the trash.

'How much folic acid is too much'. It's an MSN site.

Bait and Switch promo codes.  Recently I was going to place an order.  I already had everything in the basket, so I brought up the website, logged in, checked the promo code, which was INTL405X.  Then I remembered there was a promo code SWAN199 for $1.99 shipping instead of $4.99.  After I triple checked it 3 times,  I realized that using their wonderful $1.99 promo code, that my order would cost me $.11 cents more than without it.  What a rip.  I just want to tell them, I may have come in on the pumpkin truck, but not today.

I have been a long time customer of Swanson but recently their service has been poor.  A recent example, I placed an order for about 15 items and paid extra for expedited service. They shipped ONE item immediately.  The rest of the order was processed & shipped from Nevada and I live in east.  They have a warehouse in Pennsylvania but one item was not available at that warehouse and rather than ship from there and backorder the item, I have to wait longer & the order stays over the weekend in a hot shipping facility.  Customer service blames the warehouse, they can't do anything about it.  Swanson needs to refocus on the customer.

Awful customer service!  I have been a customer for many years and the service, while not very fast, has been acceptable.  This changed with a recent order.  It took them 4 days to process the order which included acidophilus which must be refrigerated to maintain potency.  The order was packed on a Thursday morning (according to their customer service rep), shipped on Friday, and delivered the following Wednesday.  The acidophilus arrived spoiled from the lack of refrigeration.  I'm waiting to see if they will make good on it.  If not, they have lost me and many relatives as customers.

The delivery speed is horrible.  First time customer so I used express shipping for an extra $1.50.  After 10 days the order has still not arrived.  Customer service is quick to answer but only apologizes.  Will not order from this company in the future.  Had a good experience with Vitacost.

I am a long time customer.  The last two times I have ordered from them it has taken several days for the product to ship. 

Order went in last Thursday.  Have not received any confirmation of shipping.

Sent an email this morning, got an auto-reply saying that  questions would be answered in the order received.  Haven't heard.  Are they getting ready to go out of business?  Seems like they would be interested in keeping customers happy!

I am not!!!!!

I have done business with them for several years and always had prompt shipping and excellent service.  Now, in the last month they don't seem to care if they ship anything quickly or not.  It makes me wonder if I don't need to look for a different place to buy my vitamins.
