Swanson service is horrible
I have purchased Swanson Vitamins for years. Their operations and customer service are really horrible.
While you will get a very courteous customer service agent on the phone, that's where their "service" really stops. The first odd thing you'll notice about their shipping is a $1.50 charge for express service.
I paid the $1.50 charge, but my order did not ship the same day even though the order was placed with plenty of time to ship that day. Additionally, they did not ship it until the next day, and when they did ship it - it was shipped by the postal service.
To put this in perspective I ordered the same day from Life Extension Vitamins. Life Extension is on the East coast, so the time for them was an hour later. Even though my order to Life Extension was an hour and a half later than the order for Swanson, Life Extension shipped the same day. Swanson did not. Life Extension does not charge extra for good service. Swanson does but does not deliver good service.
Life Extension shipped by UPS allowing tracking. My order with Swanson did not. I received my order from Life Extension yesterday.
I called Swanson today to find out where my order was. The Swanson agent told that I should receive it within the next 5 to 7 business days.
If there were a way to deliver any more pathetic customer service, I have no idea how it could get any worse.
Swanson's prices are good, their products seem good, their customer service is absolutely pathetic.
When I told the Swanson customer service rep how Life Extension smoked their customer service, the swanson rep said: "that's great."
They know and just don't care.
