Logging into Staples.com raises your prices

I enjoy shopping at Staples overall. However, buying ink is expensive and while in the store I checked the price at staples.com and it was better so I did not buy it in the store and logged on later that day. I logged in and pulled up my favorites, which is convenient but the price was HIGHER than what I found earlier. So I opened another browser and did not log in and found the ink(HP 45/45 double cartridge) was $8 cheaper when I was just random customer. LOGGING IN HAD RAISED THE PRICE. So much for being a valued repeat customer.
Once I had everything in my cart I logged in, the prices stayed low and I was about to check out. You have to checkout quick though, I went to get my Rewards coupons and it logged me out. When I logged back in, the higher prices were in my cart. I then had to go to another computer to start over without logging in before putting items in my cart. I guess I could have deleted cookies on the first computer but it was easier to just re-do it on another computer.
I will still shop at Staples, but I will be wary about the pricing schemes.
