Horrible, disappointing, rude customer "service"
Customer service is a true disappointment! I found the perfect gift on RedEnvelope and tried to order it the next day. To my dismay, I could no longer find it, so I called the 1-877 #. When I got through, the customer service representative was friendly and helpful and said she had ONE left in stock. As I live in Canada, I needed to get the shipping address for the States that I would have it sent to. I therefore asked that a hold be placed on the item if possible, even offering to pay for it and just update the ship to address later. I was told this was absolutely no problem and was given the extension at which to reach the customer service representative later that evening. When I called back with the address, I was unable to get through to the same person and was told there was no record on file of me having talked to anyone. I was rudely informed three times that company policy does not allow for holds. Well, the person I talked to put the item on hold, and I was blatantly lied to by one of the two representatives that I spoke with. This is ridiculous customer service. I will NOT be trying to buy from this company again. They were not helpful in the least when I had called back with the address, and the representative seemed not to even believe me that I had just called 10 minutes prior. Horrible, horrible service.
