I love shopping at REI. The only concern I had: I ordered 4 water containers. They arrived in 1 huge box. I saw those same items in the store being sold individually. The box was very cumbersome once in my car, that I had to empty the box in the parking lot, and then the items fit perfectly in the rear seat of the car. I'm glad REI took care of the empty box.

They were great. Actually the product became available at the store before my item was shipped so they cancelled the on-line order and sold the product directly to me so I received it sooner than anticipated.

Have to use online and ship to home because I live over 60 miles from the nearest store. I will still shop REI before any other outdoor store.

Products arrived EARLY!!! When my kayak arrived and I had difficulty working the valves, I called the REI store where I had picked up the kayak and their sales associates patiently walked me through the instructions until I got my kayak up and working! Thanks!

i got the shoes, but because of the lack of information on the REI site concerning customer satisfation and sizing I have to return the shoes. Had I thought about that when I picked up the shoes I would have tried them on on the store. Ooops! now I have to go back to the store, which is in a very inconveneient location. I don't know what I was thinking.

REI shopping is always a pleasure. The people working at the four REI stores I regularly use in my travels are always helpful, and a wonderful source of knowledge of local resources and places to play.

Very good assistance in choosing the bike, answering questions, etc. The staff were very knowledgeable. Previously, when a part was delayed for a bike for an extended period, the store threw in a complete overhaul for nothing. While REI may not be the sexiest place to buy a bike, they provide good, solid service and fine products.
