Delivery speed was poor if at all

I have purchased several items online.  There is a clear pattern starting to emerge.  They give a delivery date and then you never get the item(s) delivered.  It took forever to get a dinner table.  They kept extending the delivery date.  I had to raise holy heck with management.  I finally threatened to take my business elsewhere.

Again I purchase a table and bed lamp with matching shades.  They gave me a delivery date and kept extending the medium shade for the table.  I purchased these as a set not just in case.

Then I kept calling to see what was going on.  Yes I could see that online they kept extending the delivery date.  When I called customer service that is when I found out that several stores had it in their store.  Geez what happened to the poor customers who ordered this?  So they stock the store and brush off the customer online.

Well I called customer service and she found one in another city.  I was told because of the hassle that I would not have to pay shipping for it. It arrived today and the shipping was almost as much as the shade.  Will never do business with Pottery Barn online anymore
