Poor delivery and customer service
Good selection and good prices are marred by the following:
1.) Shipping takes over 10 days
2.) You don't know if an item is back-ordered until 5+ days after order is placed.
3.) Received used merchandise that was purchased as new, and was also not the color requested.
4.) Return policy requires buyer to pay shipping unless item is damaged (wouldn't pay for shipping on backordered item, or on items that took 10+ days to arrive).
5.) They do not return emails in a timely fashion, if at all, and when they do the answers are "canned".
6.) Received "used" merchandise that was also the wrong color. To return I would have to ship back and wait another 2+ weeks for the correct "New' merchandise to arrive.
Customer service agent with whom I spoke with on the phone lamented that my concerns were common with other customers of performancebike.com.
They were very nice when I called but did not seem empowered and/or willing to help me resolve any issues.
Based on other online shopping experiences, performancebike.com is stuck about 10 yrs in the past. Good selection and good prices, but do not buy anything that you might need in the next two weeks.
There are other companies that deserve your business more...
