I've been ordering from Performance for a couple of years now, and I have been very happy with them. They have a huge selection of bicycling parts and gear, with much of the merchandise being on sale at some point or another.

True, the "regular" prices can be inflated to make the "sale" prices more attractive, but Performance's prices are typically as low as or lower than most other online bicycling equipment retailers. And when compared to the prices one would pay at the local bike shop, Performance's prices are great, even when you factor in shipping.

Oh, and shipping is another positive. All but one of my orders have shipped almost immediately and arrived when they were supposed to. As an added bonus, Performance offers 2-day shipping that is typically only a few dollars more than standard shipping. Most other online retailers charge out the wazoo for anything faster than standard shipping. (Become a Performance "Team Member" and you get the upgrade to 2-day free).

The site is very easy to browse through, organized well, and has lots of pictures. Items are usually in-stock and ready to ship. You'll even get catalogs sent to you with your order with a huge amount of eye candy for anyone into biking. Oh, and returns/exchanges are easy, thanks to the paperwork that comes with every order (including pre-printed return shipping tags). Fast refunds, too, with most of mine appearing on my MasterCard account just days after Performance receives the return.
