pleasant surprise

after ordering a 50mm sony lens the next day decided to cancel the order through amazon, and got automatic email from pcnation. i decided to call them the next day when they were open, and got the worst customer service i even dealt with in my life. a manager of the company falsely tried to charge me a restocking fee for canceling, and wouldn't give me a chance to talk, because he continuously talked over me. when i finally got a word in he literally hung the phone up on me. i immediately called amazon, and spoke with customer service. the lady i spoke with put me on hold to contact pcnation, and spoke the same manager. when she was done with the phone call with pcnation she told me that the manager was very rude, and wouldn't let her get one word in. she had to hang up on him, because of the disrespect... she told me to never call pcnation again, and to only deal with amazon with regards to getting a full refund... i had to file a claim, and i'm still waiting for my fund to be put back into my account... never again.

Item was adveertised as "In Stock" on their website. 3 days later and 4 phone calls later, still no shipment, no order confirmation, and no lens. Phone calls to customer service to 2 of their agents told me very untruly that item was in warehouse awaiting prossessing. On 4th day I was told "backordered" and would I wait for the next shipment. A totally unsatisfactory experience which I will never repeat with PC Nation. Worst Sony authorized dealer I have dealt with, by far.

Excellent price on product with 3 day free shipping. Product arrived one day early. My only complaint is that I never got any tracking information posted online, but by the time I was ready to contact customer service to track my order, it had already arrived.

Everyone was helpful but description for unit was not accurate and I had to refuse shipment.

Never have I had such a bad experience ordering something online.I will not ever use pcnation again and I will tell my friends and family about my bad experience. I don't believe I've ever canceled an order except this time. I ordered the product from another online retailer with no problems.

I placed an order and received a confirmation, a week later after I received the notification to take this survey I thought it odd that I received the survey before I received the product so I went to the PC Nation website to track the order and found 2 messages waiting since the date I ordered the product saying it had not been shipped and I had to call them to confirm that I ordered it online since it was the first time I placed an order with them. This is unacceptable to me so I cancelled the order and purchased it from somewhere else. In the future they should put on their web site that first time buyers must place their initial order by phone if that is their policy.

As the result of a search by product; web site near the top, price was the best, e.g., the usual suspects; Amazon.com, Biz-Rate, etc., PCNation was the best. Site, as well as tracking of shipment, easy to navigate, informative, and will be sure to check PCNation first for any future technology products.

I am very satisfied overall. I ordered the wrong printer (I was under the impression I could also scan with it). I set it up and then realized I couldn't scan so I ordered the next one up in price which could scan. The only thing I didn't expect was the 15% restocking charge. Oh, well; it was my fault, not yours.

Checked status of my order (online), all it say is that product is "Shipped". The information regarding shipment tracking is not available. That's the reason for the rating.
