Overstocks refused to refund me for an item I did not receive unless I removed the negative feedback
I had ordered a radio from Amazon which was sold by Overstocks.com. I received an email stating the item had shipped with an estimated deliver date. The item never arrived so I sent an email to Overstocks informing them I had not received my purchase, they did not reply. I finally went to their feedback site and left negative feedback once I did that they contacted me saying they would give me a full refund. I wrote back and said fine please credit my card. I then received the below email where they stated they would not refund me until I remove the negative feedback.
So this tells me you can't count on their feedback ratings as they force people to remove negative comment in order to receive a refund. This is
a deplorable practice of manipulating customer feedback to misrepresent the integrity of the business.
Below is the email I received them.
I am really sorry for the late response. We will be glad to credit the full
amount back to your account however we can only proceed once you confirm with us that feedback has been removed.
