Very poor, indifferent, and apathetic customer service

I am a very experienced computer builder. I routinely purchase computer supplies online from various vendors. During my most recent build, Newegg.com sold me a faulty mainboard; specifically an MSI x58a-GD45, which had a faulty DIMM_1 slot.
When I attempted to RMA the product six days later, I found the RMA procedures to be very laborious and unfriendly from a consumer's point of view. Some of the instructions were even contradictory. Correspondence with Newegg.com proved equally unfruitful. Ultimately, my RMA request was apparently denied by Newegg after I returned the mainboard to the company according to their procedures. I was told to contact the manufacturer for assistance instead.
I say "apparently denied" because the RMA status page on their website indicates that my RMA was approved. However, after communicating with a customer service representative, she indicated that all RMA requests state "approved", even the ones that are denied! I also received two emails from Newegg.com on the subject of the RMA. One indicated that the RMA was approved, and another one indicated that the RMA was denied.
I originally placed my purchase back on November 11, for over $2400 in parts. Today, I am still without a functional mainboard. I am waiting for Newegg.com to ship back the faulty mainboard that they sold to me so that I may RMA the product to the manufacturer. I have never encountered such poor and completely indifferent and customer service before. I will never purchase a product from Newegg.com again due to the poor, indifferent, and apathetic customer service and their complete inability to track my RMA request properly. Thank you.
