Horrible! An entire day wasted and no product in the end.
I ordered a laptop for a friend of mine; paid with her credit card shipped to my address. I was OK with the cancelling of the order; that's fine. But they SUSPENDED my account for "suspicious activity"! I call to ask why my account was suspended and, after being escalated a couple of times, they told me that they couldn't tell me but I would get an email indicating why my account was suspended within 1 - 2 hours. I call my friend and tell her what was going and and she, in turn, calls her credit card company and finds out that her card was charged 2 days ago AND today for the price of the laptop ($399). 3 hours go by, no e-mail so I call again and tell them that I want to know "now" why my account was suspended. They told me it was suspended because the shipping and billing addresses were different! THIS is the "suspicious activity"!? People order stuff and ship it elsewhere all the time, NewEgg! A simple e-mail telling me there was a billing problem would have been a lot more appropriate than suspending my account!. They claim to have "unblocked" my account but then I still couldn't log in an hour later prompting, yet, another phone call to their customer service who actually tells me again that my account was suspended and that I need to wait 24 hours for an explanation and I go through the whole story YET AGAIN! Digging deeper, the super-sleuth on the other end of the phone says, "Yes, I see now that your account was unblocked, you should be able to log in now". I log in to confirm my account no longer suspended, then vow to never order anything from NewEgg ever again. I wasted an entire day on this mess and now I have to go elsewhere to buy the laptop since they cancelled the order. DO NOT order from NewEgg if your shipping and billing address are different! In fact, don't order from NewEgg at all!
