Buyers beware it will cost you to try on items at home
Now I remember why I always shop at Nordstrom. The story remains the same at Neiman Marcus the non-existant customer service.
I purchased 2 leather jackets online neither fit the people they were intended for so I waited for them to get them back to me and I returned them via their original box and their label.
I E-mailed customer service to advise I had returned the items that same day. I did get an acknowledgement the next day that they received my e-mail.
I received my bill, I was credited for the price of the items only to find out I was charged shipping and interest cost. I called customer service s/w Marty she removed interest cost but could not remove shipping cost because I said items did not fit, she told me had I said they were damaged or it was their fault she would have removed the cost. So had I lied they would have removed the cost. I then called Online customer service and s/w Sonia, she advised since I used their label I had to pay but if I hadn't I would still be paying to ship it back, no exceptions pay the costs for items you didn't even keep. Finally only shipping cost remains on my bill, they say I have to pay it.
So buyers beware, if items only available online and not in their store it costs you to try them on at home. Gotta go now, big shopping day at Nordstroms!!
