Unreliable, Poor Customer Service, Never Again!
Ive received numerous enticing advertisements for free shipping, arrival by Christmas which prompted me to do last minute shopping on the neimanmarcus.com website. To my dismay, I checked the status of my order today to find out that it was not going to arrive by Christmas.
This is the second time this month that I placed an order with neimanmarcus.com where I was forced to cancel the order because it wasnt going to arrive in the advertised timeline. Not only were my orders not going to arrive in time, but no one called me to notify me that there was a problem with shipping either of the orders.
When I spoke with a customer service (and I use this term loosely) representative and she told me that she neither could guarantee that my order would be cancelled, nor guarantee arrival by Christmas. She was unhelpful, unapologetic, and rude.
I cannot imagine that this just happened once and only to me. Neiman Marcus has misled the public and potentially will ruin many consumers holidays due to false advertising and poor customer service.
I am contacting the FTC to complain about NM's false advertising as well as write as many newspapers/news channels as I can to try to locate others who have had similar experiences. I am sure there will be many others as angry as I am.
