I ordered a jacket and sunglasses from MooseJaw on 12/16/11. On 12/19/11 I received an email indicating that they needed more information for my order but that it was still on schedule to arrive before Christmas. I noticed on the 20th that I had no shipping confirmation. Luckily I called "chatted" with a customer service rep asking to confirm my order had been shipped. This person then said
"Oh, sorry. Someone should have told you. Those items are back ordered."
I then asked when could I expect them as they had been "GUARANTEED BY CHRISTMAS DELIVERY". Their response...........
Gilderoy Lockhart: I wish I could pin down an answer for you, but I actually don't have access to that kind of info. It's kind of like a FBI file and, as a doctor, I don't have the special clearance needed to view it. I totally wish I was a spy.
As soon as new inventory comes in, I do know we get it added to the site pretty quickly, though.
I'd recommend checking back in a week or two.
I then cancelled my order and fortunately found another company to complete a similar order, at a higher cost, by Christmas.
Have a feeling their having some growing pains.
