My husband was looking for diamond and noticed selection was not near what Blue Nile and other websites offer. Tried to call and got an answering machine. Shopping site has been around for a while, but just does not seem the same anymore. Don't think we will shop here.

I would be easier if they only sent e-mail since i am use to checking status for orders online and can't use my cellphone at home. And it might not have delayed my order but also would help if it let you put in more information on the card to have it processed quicker as well. Instead of them having to call to process the credit card and/or get it processed. But would have thought the neclace would be a little longer with the pictures you can't really figure if it was the right size either.

The ring was great, it was appraised at a higher value, which was great as well! The mix-up with payment was mostly my fault and they were pretty helpful. They don't always answer the phone, which can get pretty frustrating and I ended up losing the original diamond I wanted to order to someone else. I would shop there again.

started out well, a mistake was made on my address, so we cancelled the order and re-issued a new one. Tried to track status, but it never changed on their website. Selected contact us, emailed them twice without a response. I feel if you are going to have a link for contacting them they should at least honor your information request and reply to the email.

Good so far, I have not received the ring yet. A little slow but then again, I've never ordered jewelry before so I don't know if that is normal. I spoke to David on the phone concerning an issue with my credit card...he was very helpful!

Merchant confirms order placed with credit card by matching customer phone numbers provided to Mondera with those retained by credit card company. This is unreliable because numbers change and I (and many others, I suspect) did not update numbers with credit card company. I received 3 phone calls, my husband received 1 call. While the reps. spoke directly to me, each person (Kevin and David) insisted they could not process my order until my phone numbers matched those Visa had. I was busy working and not in a position to update that info. at that time. When I told Kevin to cancel the order he simply put it through. Telephone numbers are a poor, antiquated way to match a consumer to a credit card. This held up my order by 1 day, as well. Unfortunately, these two reps. had heavy accents that were extremely difficult to understand. I've dealt with Mondera without incident before but, while I'd consider shopping with them again, I'll look for specific merchandise elsewhere, first.

Beautiful rings, but don't expect them to last and don't expect Mondera to care. Within months of purchase of a diamond ring for a special anniversary, my wife discovered one of the diamonds missing. A follow-up check by a local jeweler revealed that nearly all the diamonds in this piece were precariously set==NO quality control at Mondera, and customer service is equivalent to "Customer NO Care." Quality jewelry should last decades, not months! You'd think the company would be willing to at least give a deal on a replacement diamond for their own ring (which they still sell), but instead, wanted to charge over 1/3 the cost of the entire ring PLUS shipping, and just getting them to respond is tough. Finally, theyll outright lie to get you to go away. SAD!

It's lovely website. I initially shopped with them for an engagement ring & diamond. I was pretty impressed with their service & also got free shipping. Then i bought a wedding band from them, anniversary band, birthstone jewelry for my wife. I intend next to buy matching diamond stud earrings & pendants for her. Hope they continue to serve me well as they did in the past.

I recently picked out a diamond solitaire engagement ring. I loved the ease of choosing it on line without pressure from a sales person.
I had researched what to look for when buying a diamond prior to going on their web site, but they also had info on what to look for and it was very helpful.
I also checked Epinions as well as the Better Business Bureau. Any issue regarding Mondera were minor Customer Service issues that were eventually resolved.
Once the order was placed they called me to confirm that all the info was correct...esp the different shipping address.
Then, the order was shipped a week SOONER than they had told me. It just arrived in time for Valentine's Day!
Everything was EXACTLY the way I had ordered it and as it was presented on the web site.
I couldn't be happier. The bands are next...and I've started to add to my Mondera Wish List!

I have to say that I am VERY impressed. I ordered an engagement ring (solitaire diamond on a platinum setting) about 2 weeks back and am due to travel tonight. As soon as I had placed the order, I realized that the shipping date would be after my date of travel! (Mainly because of time required to put the ring together). I then called them up and explained my predicament. They said they would put in a rush order for me and that I would definitely have it in 8-9 days max. I had also called once in between because I was nervous and they reassured me. Lo and behold, the package arrived EXACTLY on schedule! I am very impressed and happy with both the workmanship and the customer service. Thanks!

Mondera has the worst customer service of any online jeweler. I had to make 5 phone calls to unprofessional staff and they were not capable of confirming my order. In the end Mondera never asked for my credit card information until I called questioning my order status. Then I found out that they were not able to meet the timetable THEY agreed to. Wow!

The only challenge presented was that it required my signature for delivery and I wasn't aware of that when I ordered or I would have had it shipped to my office. Otherwise it was exactly what I was looking for and had a difficult time finding.

I had to purchase a second screwback for my earing only a week after receiving them. When I did receive the screwback and went to put it on it did not fit right and it broke the diamond setting off of the post.

The people at Mondera have always been very helpful. I sent an email regarding my order and they called me the next day to resolve my issue and reassure me that things were going well. The prices are wonderful and they have excellent coupons if you sign up for their newsletter. The processing time between ordering and shipment is short and generally easy. They do call to confirmt the shipping address if it is different from the billing, which makes me feel more secure. In general, I am very happy. The jewelery is very good quality, returns are accepted for any reason. Overall, wonderful.
