The only complaint I have is that I could not use my credit card to pay and there was a lengthy rigmarole to get the authorisation through from my bank to their bank tp pay by debit card, which is effectively cash.

I placed an order on Mondera.com for a beautiful sterling silver chain necklace at a great price. Two days later my order was still marked "pending". That day I had a message on my machine from Mondera, despite the fact that on their site it clearly states that they will try to contact via email if there is a problem. So I email them and ask what the problem is.
No response.
Two days later another message on my machine. So I email again. No response. I emailed one more time and told them to cancel my order. THEN and only THEN did I get a reply confirming my cancellation.
I still don't know what the problem was. My credit card was fine, address too and they OBVIOUSLY had my phone number right.
For whatever reason they did not want to sell me that chain as it continued to be marked as in stock.
No response.

It took over two weeks for them to ship the product after the shipping date they listed. Call customer service four time and was told each time it would ship the next day and it didn't! The ring looked great but the wait sure was not worth it.

I HAVE CALLED TWICE AND EMAILED ONCE. THE EMAIL I HAVE FROM THEM SHOWS IT WAS TO SHIP ON 12/19/06. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THE PRODUCT OR HEAR FROM THEM. MY CREDIT CARD HAS ALREADY BEEN CHARGED AND I AM VERY VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS. I UNDERSTAND IT IS NOT A LARGE PURCHASE (THANK GOODNESS) OR ELSE I WOULD PERHAPS BE CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I ordered the ring on 9 DEC 06 and it supposedly shipped on 21 DEC 06. However, I have yet to receive it, understanding, due to my location it will take longer. I have attempted to contact Customer Service 3 times now! I called on a Thursday, 28 DEC 06 at 0930 am and no one was available. I tried again on Friday, 29 DEC 06 at 0930 and still no one was available. The website says that their is customer service hours on Saturday; however I called on 30 DEC 06 and again found no one available. I have no problem with not getting the product yet, I just simply wanted a tracking number to give to FEDEX to see where it was. I am very disappointed in the inability to simply get this information. I do not plan on buying anything else from Mondera. It is unfortunate because I found the online experience very enjoyable!

The only thing I found odd was that it asks if you would like to type out something to be put on a card in with your purchase. I did do this and found that it was a hand written card not typed... didn't look real professional, however the product itself is beautiful and I received it on time.

Originally, I had contacted the retailer about the availability of the ring in sizes. The retailer's customer service agent responded that the ring was only available in one size, but if I bought the ring, he could have it sized for me, although then the ring would not be returnable. I waited for a week, then contacted that customer service agent again to let him know that I was purchasing the ring, and that I wanted it sized, acknowledging that the ring would no longer be returnable. Then, I placed the order. I read through the website's shipping policy and noted that they always shipped FedEx 2nd day air, and that an adult needed to sign for the package. I was very concerned about this, as I was going to be out of town when the item shipped, so I wanted to make sure that I was around when the package arrived. I hoped for an auto-generated e-mail that the item had shipped, but I didn't get one. I did check the status of my order online and figured out that I would be around to receive the package. When the package arrived, it was left on my door step (jewelry on a door step?), and most of all, confirming my suspicions, it wasn't sized, so I will have to pay a local jeweler to do the work for me. Overall, I have very mixed feelings about my experience with Mondera, and don't think I will order anything from them again.

Delivery Speed: Quick, fedex express 3 days to Hawaii. The only problem was that fedex tracking showed it stuck in TN and I wasn't sure it would arrive on time. I was pleasantly pleased when the fedex van drove up on the expected date of delivery.

This order had guaranteed shipment within 24 hours of credit approval and it took them more than a week after credit approval to actually get my item out the door (after 3 phone calls and an email). While the end product was good, I found them inefficient and not very reliable. I would not have ordered the item had I known how late they would be. I bought from Mondera because I required the quick delivery, and didn't get it.
