Unsatisfactory customer service and equipment

Purchased a defective massage stool and have not yet received the correct product. Stool was purchased in 05? Upon arrival it came w/o the hydralic cylinder, I immediately called customer service and was told that they had realized the mistake that several of these stools were sent incorrectly, with missing parts and they assured me they would send the part immediately. Never arrived after a month, contacted again and they apologized and they would just send me a whole new stool, and don't worry about trying to send the defective one back. Waited again and nothing. Lousy customer service that doesn't stand behind what they state to customers and a company that doesn't back their word or the value of the products. After 8 phone calls, letters, emails I still have a defective stool, and no replacement. Other supplies, I have ordered, lotions, cremes, etc are sometimes ok, great pricing, but if you know where to look you can usually find it cheaper yet, with incentives of free shipping.
I have since given up, but warn every student I teach to be careful with this company and try not to purchase large equipment if possible.
If the customer service would have only corrected the problem they knew had happened and with todays technology of computers they have the capability to track these orders, it seems that for a growing industry such as ours, that the number one motto should be "customer service is top priority". Not the all mighty dollar. New therapists have a hard enough time navigating through endless promotional companies and if Massage warehouse wants to be a top rated company, then act and stand behind it.
