I am not a shopper.  When I find a top I like, I can never find matching slacks and vice versa.  I would rather shop from home as long as I know the online store I am dealing with has a good reputation and will accept returns.  Lands’ End Online has never let me down.

I originally ordered clothing from Lands’ End catalogs which were mailed to my home.  Now, I receive regular emails from Lands’ End Online with special offers several times a week.  For example, the special offer I received today was 25% off women’s spring favorites with free shipping on orders over $50.00.

If you have a question about one of Lands’ End garments, you may contact a customer service representative by Live Chat, text chat, email or phone.  Video chat is a one way video and no camera is required.  You may text chat using your keyboard. If you submit an email, you will receive a response within three hours.

If I see an item online I like online, but want to know specifics, I will telephone a Lands’ End customer service representative.  I previously ordered four of the Cable FeelGood Professor Cardigans.  I noticed some mock turtlenecks and short sleeve cardigans online but was not sure if the length would be too long and hang below the cardigan.  I also wanted to know if the color I chose would be compatible with the cardigan.  A customer service representative went into the stock room and pulled the pieces I was considering and gave her opinion on what I was attempting to match.  The Lands’ End representatives are right on the money every time.

Another thing I like about ordering from Lands’ End Online is that I can order two of the same item in different sizes if I am not sure about the fit.  For example, I ordered two parkas:  one in size Large and one in size X-Large.  When they arrived at my home, I decided which was the best fit and I returned the other to the Sears store at the mall without paying a return shipping fee.  When my next order was placed, a shipping fee was not charged because I returned a prior order.  Therefore, I have free shipping when I receive my next order.

Lands’ End polos are available in either an original fit which is not too slim or too loose or their traditional fit which is generously cut through the body and is the most relaxed fit.  I will order one of each in the same size to see which is a better fit and return the other to Sears.  I have never had a problem with any return over the years.

The Lands’ End Online site is very easy to navigate.  They offer a size chart at your fingertips so there is no more fumbling through pages of the catalog.

You can also view “E-Catalogs” on the Lands’ End Online site.  For example, you can view catalogs such as Lands’ End Kids, Lands’ End School, Lands’ End Home, etc. and turn the pages as you would a regular paper catalog.  E-Catalogs are the most environmentally friendly way to shop.

Another great idea for shopping Lands’ End online is their E-Gift Cards.    The gift cards are delivered to your recipient within two hours or less and you may add a personalized message along with the gift card.

Not only do I buy quality garments which last for years from Lands’ End Online, but I receive exceptional customer service as well.  I have ever received an order that wasn’t accurate.

Email for online shopping sites is becoming more and more popular due cost effectiveness, not to mention all of the trees being saved!   I predict that catalog mailings will be significantly reduced or possibly even discontinued in the not too distant future with more homes having internet capability.
