THere was only one problem. There was a coupon site on the internet that offered free shipping on any chadelier purchase. No code was required. However, I was unable to get this discount when I placed my order by phone. The representative insisted she needed a promotional code. She even went to the website with me on the phone, agreed there was a discount but was not empowered to make it happen. That was a bit disappointing. I should have pursued it further but it was just too much of a hassel and did not seem to be worth the inordinate amount of time it seemed to be taking to get to the bottom of this situation. Otherwise, I have purchased multiple items from this e-retailer before and have been very satisified with the products and the whole shopping experience.

The item came with unclear instructions for installation. Lamps Plus should consider this when choosing manufacturers to represent.

Their customer service is great --- we wanted to exchange a lamp and they mailed us a pre-paid UPS label for returning the original item, meanwhile they mailed us the new one. Very fast turnaround on e-mails or phone calls to customer service.
