Horrible Online Customer Service
Kohl's has very poor customer service for online purchases. I placed 2 orders during their recent promotion for the Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend and earned $15 Kohl's Cash for each purchase. I never received an order confirmation from them nor did I receive the Kohl's Cash code so I emailed their customer service department. They insist that they emailed the code to me & resent it, but I never have received it. It is not in the junk folder nor is there a spam filter in place. Their email is on my approved sender/recipient list too. I have gone back & forth several times via email and am still waiting for them to send my code. They can correspond with me via email, but somehow they can't send my code to that same email. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I have called their customer service department twice and waited 45 minutes each time on hold and all they can offer me is to resend the code which doesn't come. Repeating the same action and expecting a different result. Honestly, how hard can it be to send somebody a Kohl's Cash code yet they refuse to do it. They claim that I have to make a purchase for the amount of the Kohl's Cash & then they will reimburse me which will take 10-14 days. Ummmmm...right. That sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen. I'm obviously not going to spend more money & hope by chance that I will be reimbursed when they can't send something as simple as a code to me via email. Why not do the easy thing & just send me the code??? I can honestly say that wasting all this time is simply not worth the $30 in savings. As a result, I am going to return my online orders when I receive them and go shopping at another store that doesn't require me to jump through hoops to take advantage of their promotions. Kohl's has lost me as a customer.
