One week ago, my wife purchased a series of Dr. Seuss books for the children of the school she was student teaching. Today she called FedEx to inquire about the status of the shipment, only to learn that the status had not been updated because the package had not been delivered yet. She then contacted Kohls and, after speaking to a representative, spent some time on the phone with a manager.

The manager informed her that the package had been possibly lost and that, they couldn't provide a replacement because they did not have any more copies of those same books. As a compensation, howeer, she could be offered a small discount on a purchase made today (that is, not only they didn't solve the problem, but they also tried to encourage her to buy someone else!). My wife refused the offer, and insisted that she wanted those books... which she had promised to the children in the class -- they were excited about them and now she would have to buy them somewhere else for a much higher price in order to not disappoint them. The manager from Kohls proved to be completely unhelpful and uninterested. The phone call was a complete loss of time.

As I type this review, my wife is sending a letter to the Better Business Bureau. We are going to request that Kohls reimburses the cost of the same books, which we just purchased at Amazon.com. We will never purchase anything again from Kohls.com.
