I purchased an Iomega 1 Ter. external hard drive.  The price was great, the shipping was free, and the delivery was timely.  I ordered the item on a Friday night, it was shipped Monday morning, and I received it the following Monday.  Carefully packed for shipping so it was in excellent condition when I received it.

This was as easy as can be....Just went online and purchased a highly discounted fax and it was here is 3 days....Great experience....

J&R shipped the item when they stated they would, delivered on the faster shipment method I chose, and the item came well packaged, just as advertised.  I was very satisfied with my experience with them.

They carried the Gateway SX2800, which almost no online retailers carried.  I was very glad then that they had a good online reputation.  They carried it for a very good price, and there were no strongarm tactics, attempts to add on products, calls after the fact, bait and switch or other typical poor online service tactics.  Other than a survey request after the fact, I have not been deluged with spam.

The item itself has been everything it advertised, fast, quiet, slim a very good computer for a budget price, it blows other budget PCs away in everything but expandability.  I highly suggest it.

Previously I ordered several electronic items from another large, famous online retailer and had nothing but problems, ranging from the item being stolen and receiving only an empty box to receiving defective merchandise (twice in a row, no less).  When I called JR and asked them to met the price of this other retailer, the person handling the call did so immediately. Then, there was very fast delivery at no extra charge. I ordered Sat night, the package was on my doorstep Tuesday.  I've been very pleased with JR--reliable, never any problems and great prices. 

No hassels, no issues and a great price.  I will be a repeat customer.

I bought a Panasonic Digital camera and it was 10% lower in price than anyone else including ebay.

I was checking on the price of Sennheiser 140 wireless headphones for a while when J & R showed up on my search at a great price. I had to call and see if it was the base and headphones or just the headphones. The customer service person (Darryl) was very helpful and he assured me it was the entire unit and then offered to place the order for me. I ordered on 9/25 and the box was on my front porch on 9/29. The product was great, customer service was great and the delivery time was faster than I ever expected. What more could you ask for from a company? Shopping experience was good; however, product WAS NOT. Regardless of what I do, I cannot get the product to work. This is the second time I've purchased a product of this nature, and as before, IT DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED. A wasted purchase that will end up in the garbage can. I tried everything to make this product work, rebooting (several times), disabling my firewall and virus programs, etc. I don't know what it is about these USB all radio channels products, but they do not live up to their hype. I know we all use different virus and firewall programs, but the vendor or manufacturer should make provisions to make their product work on the most popular security programs. As it now stands, I will never order another product such as this. It is such a hassle trying to return products that I would prefer dumping it than waste my time, its too precious to me.

My online shopping experience with J&R was pleasant and expedient. The price for my Sony Portable DVD player was excellent. The same player at Radio shack was $40.00 more. I will definitely shop J&R for any of my future electronics needs.

I ordered the WRT54G2 wireless router (refurbished) on a Wednesday night and I received it next Friday morning. Unfortunately the router did not work as I expected. I called Customer Service and explained the problem. The representative suggested an other model for my home network. He did not try to sell me some expensive model which I did not need. I received the new one the next day. It works perfectly. The return was taken care of promptly. The prices are the best anywhere, free shipping, no sales tax outside N.Y. State.

Horrible experience as I needed a camcorder to be delivered in 1 day, but J and R did not process the order promptly and I could not record the birth of my first kid.
I called them complaining and trying to find a solution, but instead their customer service attendant did not care, and near the end of the call she asked: "Do you want to cancel your order or not"? Not for a single moment I was impolite or irritated.
Just to make things worse I paid extra to have it delivered the next day, which did not work either. I ended up canceling the purchase and they did not care either.

After Buy.com cancelled my order because of an out of stock condition at J&R, the telephone operator at J&R took my order (even after the price went up) for the same price of the original order, and included free delivery.  What a sweet deal! 

A few internet companies will get an order shipped the same day for a repeat customer.  J&R MUsic and Computer World had sent me a tracking number for my FIRST order in less than 4 hours and on my very first order.

Their prices are very good and their shipping was even better than excellent.  What more could one ask for from a company?

If only all net companies were this capable....

I am happy with the product I purchaced at JR but unhappy with the delivery time.  Your advertisement says usually ships in 2 days.  I orded my computer Sept. 10th and didn't receive it until Sept. 21st.  Eleven days is a far cry from 2 days.  Pony Express would have been faster.
