This company will go to any length to make sure the customer is happy.  When I received my order, I could not find the two NMH batteries (2) that were supposed to be included with the order.  I contacted them with the problem and three days later I received a package of (4) new batteries.  They did not manufacturer the product & were not liable for the batteries for the stero headphones I purchased but happyly took responsibility & sent the batteries & paid the shipping.  This is a rare quality in this day & age.  I would highly reccomend J & R.  Their price was also substantially lower than anyone else for the same model headphones.

Horrific. I ordered a wine fridge for my parents for Christmas and the only positive thing is that it came in on time. It took several days for the order to be processed, which I understand because of the busy holiday season, but the almost two hundred dollar fridge was very very poorly packaged and not protected which, of course, resulted in several severe breaks rendering the product useless. Literally, the box was torn up, there was a plastic wrap covering the fridge but that is about it - no styrofoam, no peanuts. The door was broken off and the glass front was of course broken.  We returned our item and will never buy from this vendor again. We ordered a new fridge from WalMart and even though it was more expensive, I did not have to put up with the hassle of getting a wine fridge and all its broken components in and out of my living room.

J&R Music World came in at the lowest price for this Christmas gift for my Son in Law (it was a Braun 790cc identical to the one I own.) All facets of this transaction were satisfactory. The lowest price didn't mean that I was in for problems. I received a tracking number within a day and the shaver got here in plenty of time even though the cleaning cartridge that comes with the razor contains a flammable liquid and must come by UPS Ground. Anyway, I am happy with J&R and will definitely give them a shot for future online purchases.

The process was easy and quick.  The product was delivered without damage and or delay and required no additional customer service calls.  The bonus of the transaction was the promotion of no tax or delivery fee which made this a great deal. Overall experience was EXCELLENT. 

I have always had a very pleaing experience shopping with J&R.com and with their telephone sales.  They have always had the items in stock, their prices were always better than their competitors and would match or beat competitors prices, and the shipping was always fast.  The sales people are always courteous and knowledgeable and the customer service representatives are pleasant to deal with also.

Not satisfied with purchase; purchased a refurbished HP mini PC 1137NR and the A/C jack was still damaged.  It would not stay connected via power cord to A/C source and the battery therefore would not receive a charge. 

JR's policies require you to deal with the manufacturer if you have initialized the hard drive, so after contacting HP and a 45 minute phone call, to expedite repair on this Christmas gift, I had to pay $37 FEDEX shipping one-way for the repair.  The repair is cover by warranty but the hassle of shipping and trying to get the gift back in a timely matter makes me not so happy.  Have purchased refurbished items from elsewhere before and had much success.  JR World does not seem to do much quality control checking of their merchandise and makes it very hard on consumer to have any issues corrected.

I was very skeptical of buying the Onkyo 876 on line due to the shipping of a 60lbs AVR acroos the country but J & R did a good job packing to have my Onkyo 876 arrived in perfect condition.

During the whole process, I received my tracking number promptly and be able to access J&R tracking without complication.

J & R even refunded my the shipping charged on my second order for the wall mount brakets as I was promised when I ordered the Onkyo 876.

Professionalism an intergrity are the two words I would described the CSR of J & R.
