Ridiculously slow shipping, customer service only repeats what you already know.
I purchased a Today's Special Value (GE E1680W Digital Camera) on May 11th to take with me on a trip on May 21st. After checking for a tracking number for a few days, the order showed up as cancelled. I called them to find out that they needed me to confirm my address. They didn't bother to email me, they just cancelled my order 4 days after I placed it. So I re-ordered the item on the morning of May 16th. The price had gone up $20 but they did give me a $20 credit to offset the difference. The estimated delivery date was May 26th. Ten days for an in-stock delivery is really unacceptable these days when the average retailer takes about half that time. The UPS tracking # was created on May20th, but UPS didn't actually take possession of the package until May 23rd. There was no tracking info available until today, May 24th and now the expected delivery date has been changed to May 27th! I called customer service a few times to find out why it was taking so long for the item to ship and all they would ever say is, "The expected date of delivery is May 26th."
