Poorest customer service I've experienced in a long time
Will never use FTD.com again. Ordered flowers for my grandson's birthday 2 1/2 days prior to the delivery date. Received an email confirmation the day I ordered. On the morning of requested delivery, I received a voice message (from a woman who had a difficult-to-understand Indian accent) asking me to call about my order. When I returned the call, I did get a nice American woman telling me they only had one florist in the area and they could not deliver that day! She "was not allowed" to tell me the name of the florist and said they had just been notified by the florist about the inability to fulfill my order on time. She did offer to have something shipped for delivery the next day or to refund my money. I needed flowers there that day so I found a local florist (Holly Berry in Evergreen, Colorado) who very competently delivered a beautiful bouquet that day (they are Teleflora).
To make matters worse, the next day FTD sent me an email confirming delivery as scheduled! With the ability to find a local florist online myself, I won't be using FTD.com again. At least if I have a problem with a local florist, I know who they are and won't use them again.
