I´ve read bad opinions about this merchant but for me, in Spain, the customer service has been professional and the deliver of the items has been really good. Also, the items (a pair of lovely Stacy Adams shoes) are in perfect shape.

Eastbay is always prompt with any orders that we place with them from the time the order is first placed until it is received. I really have no complaints about them and my Son always looks forward to receiving their catalogs.

The only thing that slowed the order down was the holidays. The post office was closed an extra day after New Years. No problems! : )

DHL was rediculous waste of time since they didn't deliver except to our post office which does not make household deliveries period. Package would have been received faster by any other carrier. Hybrid DHL USPS is a joke.

Eastbay offered a 10% discount on purchases made using their giftcards. Only when we made our selection did we learn that the items we wanted were excluded from their promotion. Better disclosure up front would go a long way, compared to disappoint after the fact. As a business practice, this just does not feel honest.

The original shoes were lost by DHL, and this was obvious by DHL's tracking system. Eastbay made good on the purchase by shipping another pair of shoes by 2-day FedEx. However, they made us wait for 10 days to ship the second pair. By then I had missed the occasion the shoes were intended for, (though my son understood he'd get them eventually). It would have been nice if Eastbay had compensated me in some way for the time and trouble involved. They should not use DHL. (I have had trouble with them in the past, and our local ParcelPlus store refuses to use them due to their track record.)

I'm currently deployed in Iraq, everytime I place an order a couple of days later I half to provide information about my bank and the 1-800 number for the card. I don't know why if the billing address is different from the shipping address you half to resubmit the order. Also I ordered a fleece top and a pair nike running shoes, I don't know if the order was accepted or not because I haven't gotten and email from eastbay yet.

The only problem we had was when we ordered we asked for overnite shipping and paid a hefty dollar amount to do so. Then after making some calls regarding our order di I find out about the delay for adding personel engraving on the shoes. I requested that the overnight shipping charge be return to me. I missed the notification regarding delays when monogramming. I spoke to a supervisor and and was assured that overnight express charges would be returned to my account. We did received the product and are very satisfied with the product itself. I don't know if the charges have been returned yet. I would like to hear from someone to verify the shipping chages have been returned to me.
