Poor customer support
I ordered two items from Dicks about a month ago. They said that both items were shipped on the same day, but only one item ever arrived. UPS confirmed that two labels had been purchased, but only one was used.
I contacted their customer support and I got two emails back on the same day. The first said that they were sorry and they would ship the other item right away. The second said that they couldn't ship the other item and I would need to purchase it again. No mention of a refund.
I'm still working on getting them to make up their minds. So far, I have not gotten the item that I ordered or a refund and I've wasted quite a bit of time with their customer support. The main problem is that two separate customer serivce reps were assigned to my ticket and they didn't appear to have any knowledge of each other. I think the worst part is that the second customer service rep believed that it would be ok to not ship me a product, but still keep my money.
Overall, the prices were good, the website was good, the shipping would have been good if they'd actually shipped my product. This is just an issue where a good store has poor customer service. While my past experiences with Dick's have been good, I don't think I will shop there again because their customer service is totally unable to fix their own mistakes.
