The website is confusing, As far as purchasing again, maybe. I ordered a flat panel a little over a year ago, I do not remember it being such an ordeal How could I rate how the merchandise was received when it has not come yet?

I RECEIVED THE WRONG BLACK INK CARTRIDGES AND TRIED FOR ALMOST EIGHT HOURS TRYING TO GET SOMEONE ON THE TELEPHONE FOR A CORRECT RETURN ADDRESS. EVERYTIME I WOULD GET TO A POINT I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE TRANSFERRED TO SOEONE WHO COULD HELP ME. I STARTED CALLING AT 8 AM ON SATURDAY JANUARY 2ND AND IT WAS NOT UNTIL ALMOST 5:30 PM THAT I FINLLY SPOKE TO A YOUNG MAN WHOSE NAME WAS "AMISH?" AND WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO E MAIL ME A RETURN LABEL.

I had bought Dell products in the past, and had always kept them in mind when the time came to buy a new computer. This was finally my time to buy a laptop. Dell had several very good deals for the holidays-as everyone else-but I had very specific features in mind, so I bypassed the holiday deal packages and went to their custom laptop pages. I had every available reference to ensure the features I picked would work the way I wanted. There was some minor confusion at the end (somehow my order was duplicated), but it was caught in time, and I ordered my laptop. This is where things got really cool. I was given a initial delivery date sometime in the first week of January. No prob, I thought, custom orders too soon to Christmas couldn't be finished in time. It was better in my mind to have it built right than have it under the tree. A week after the order was placed, my delivery date was adjusted---THE TUESDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS! I was so excited. Then I got a knock at the door on that monday (day before) There was the FedEx person with my laptop! THANK YOU DELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good, but I requested that you hold shipments that required signatures since we would be gone over the holidays. This did not happen and we were lucky in the fact that one neighbor that just had back surgery happened to see the FedEx person on one of his two allowed 10 minute walks in the garage. He yelled at the person and signed for the package or it would have been shipped back. We have received notice that the computer and display screen have been delayed for a few more days. We cannot provide a better merchant rating until the new delivery schedule is achieved.

The Studio Slim came with Windows 7, but the set-up brochure was about Windows Vista. The instructions for connecting the monitor said use the blue VGA plug, AVI optional. Powering up the computer and monitor produced a small blue window message to the effect that the monitor was going into Sleep Mode. It took several calls to Technical Support and the annoying trips through the automated answering agony before finaly connecting to an understandable technician who diagnosed the problem as being the VGA connection. Because of the video board involved it took the use of a VGA to AVI converting plug (supplied) to get the desired results. The set-up directions supplied failed on two counts, Vista rather than 7 and listing the AVI connection as optional!!

The on-line shopping experience was very easy.I could of at anytime talked to a technician to help but didn't need to. I actually received my order a day earlier than the expected delivery date so that was especially rewarding. I recommend this site for anyone.

I found the descriptions and Identity numbers to be very clear and easy to find. The discount was already factored in. There was some confusion with the checkout order, but it was easily corrected. Thank you for making it simple.

shopping and delivery were fine. But necessary to make 3 calls to Tech support--spent hours on the phone only to learn the printer is defective and that they would order a replacement for me--can only hope that it will come as quickly as the original and this time will be in working order. A very disappointing experience, I'm sorry I didn't purchase a printer locally where I could've gotten any problems resolved in a more timely manner.

The original website order was not a good experience. The web said $70 for additional 1G and color. It would not allow me to pick a color separately. I selected the $70 combined option, then chose the color. It added an additional $40 on top of the $70. I could not get it off after numerous attempts. I was overcharged and very disappointed. On the other hand, the shipping was terrific. It came quickly. I expected the color would have delayed it, but it didn't. The survey is also a problem. The 1st part didn't allow for a null answer if that question didn't apply. Even this one wouln't skip parts that don't apply.

So far so good better than buying your product at a different retailer. The product is expected early this week.
