Shopping on line with Dell was so easy

The on line confirmation only mentioned that the color cartridge was being sent; however, I did receive both color and black & white ccartridges in same box.

website easy to use, and find what I needed. However, they said the package would have to be signed for, but it was left by the front door, without even ringing bell or knocking. I was disappointed by their delivery service-Fed Ex Ground, not doing what was expected. Dell is always perfect in all ways according to my experiences.

Very difficult to place an order online. Found navigating through the website difficult and cumbersome. Found the website and order process very UN-user friendly. Placed the order online and the incorrect shipping address was supplied and the product was returned to vendor without any notice being sent to me. I found out on my own and reorderd on my own.

I have purchased a DELL desk-top computor in the past with Windows VISTA and it is excellent! I use it every day. I also have an older DELL with Windows 2000 and Linux Mint on it. Slow but still up and running. As an 84 year old 'it works for me!' Arlene Abel

The computer I received from Dell is far more than I expected, such as Lo-Jack for one year or McAfee anti-virus for 15 months. Considering all the features, the price was reasonable.

Okay. What I would recommend is that Dell not make ordering something simple so complicated.

I would like to know why the no shipping fee promotion does not apply to my printer ink? My printer is style 810 and I always recycle the used ones. This doesn't quit seem ethical to exclude certain models. It took me two phone calls to find my printer ink was not included and one referral phone number to (800) 999-3355, that was an adult only number, obviously the wrong number. I'm very happy with the printer on an overall but do find that I use a lot of ink and these replacements are not inexpensive. The program is call "Ink Save".

I was told it could take 6-7 days to receive my order. I did not pay for priority shipping. I had it the next day! Very pleased.

I have no choice but to shop at Dell, as they are the only supplier of ink for their printers. But the experience is NOT easy or pleasant.

I did it all on line and had no problems

I had trouble with the on line order form. I put my house address in, but I was told repeatly that you don't deliver to P.O. Box numbers. It took awhile, but finally the order was completed.

Their web site for ordering ink is VERY user UNfreindly...hard to use. You would think a computer company would have the most user friendly site available. Once I was FINALLY able to get the order entered, the produact came quickly and was fine.

The good people at Dell have ALWAYS been excellent to me on the phone. I can't think of a bad experience that I've ever had with them. 3 computers, peripherals, a TV, wall bracket, Wii,.... yeah, they've got MY business!!!

Dell's search engine returned 2 possible batteries for the model laptop. One was regular WHr capacity, the other was larger Whr capacity. What I failed to recognize from the description is that the larger capacity is also physically larger size. Also, Dell sent a coupon to me for $15 off from a previous Dell purchase. The coupon has not yet expired, but when I tried several times to redeem it the online order form wouldn't accept it. That really turned me off to ordering directly from Dell, because I could have bought it elsewhere for about $30 less.

The desktop itself and the printer are excellent and I am very happy with my purchase. The only problem is that the printer a v313 doesn't come with a usb cable. When purchasing on line Dell shows an accessory cord of 10ft in length. I did a chat session with Dell support to ask what length comes with the printer and was told a 10ft cord was standard. In fact no cord is the standard. If the chat rep had of said that I would have purchased the cord from Dell instead I had to buy a 6ft cord locally for $35.00 when Dells cord was only $20.00. This is my only complaint, the equipment is perfect.

My main problem is that on the product selection it said: "Free shipping for order > $49.-" When I put the order together shipping handling was ~$12.- and when I placed the order it was $192.- A big difference. Minor issuer is the modem I ordered at the same time doesn't fit. This is almost resolved, we will see!

Was told by Dell representative via chat session that the item I wanted was no longer available. However, I was able via online order to order the item I wanted.
