PLEASE NOTE: My rating of customer service as unacceptable applies only the first person I talked to. The second person I talked to was very helpful and very competent. When I went to sign out, the total was much more than the price of the product I ordered. No other items were on the order. I couldn't change the amount. I would buy ink from Dell again because there is no other source. I plan to buy a competitor's printer with a lower cost of ink. (and hopefully fewer problems using customer service)

The hardware & software were fine. The website was filled with muiltiple, conflicting & confusing offers on the same or nearly identical products. The computer came loaded with junk programs (Bling, MSN, Macafee)that actually DESTROYED most of my hard work setting up the machine to my liking and url Favorites. It still requires endless clicks to make them go away and leave me alone. I will not soon forget this, Dell.

website easy to use, and find what I needed. However, they said the package would have to be signed for, but it was left by the front door, without even ringing bell or knocking. I was disappointed by their delivery service-Fed Ex Ground, not doing what was expected. Dell is always perfect in all ways according to my experiences.

Very difficult to place an order online. Found navigating through the website difficult and cumbersome. Found the website and order process very UN-user friendly. Placed the order online and the incorrect shipping address was supplied and the product was returned to vendor without any notice being sent to me. I found out on my own and reorderd on my own.

I have purchased a DELL desk-top computor in the past with Windows VISTA and it is excellent! I use it every day. I also have an older DELL with Windows 2000 and Linux Mint on it. Slow but still up and running. As an 84 year old 'it works for me!' Arlene Abel

The computer I received from Dell is far more than I expected, such as Lo-Jack for one year or McAfee anti-virus for 15 months. Considering all the features, the price was reasonable.

I would like to know why the no shipping fee promotion does not apply to my printer ink? My printer is style 810 and I always recycle the used ones. This doesn't quit seem ethical to exclude certain models. It took me two phone calls to find my printer ink was not included and one referral phone number to (800) 999-3355, that was an adult only number, obviously the wrong number. I'm very happy with the printer on an overall but do find that I use a lot of ink and these replacements are not inexpensive. The program is call "Ink Save".

I was told it could take 6-7 days to receive my order. I did not pay for priority shipping. I had it the next day! Very pleased.

I have no choice but to shop at Dell, as they are the only supplier of ink for their printers. But the experience is NOT easy or pleasant.

dell always seems to have great deals, and in this case a bluray burner built in a laptop. at the time i ordered it (december) they were the only company offering the bluray read and write in laptops. it took some time getting here, but it was worth it. i was in no hurry to get it and with new tech. and options, sometimes things dont come together smoothly at first. the laptop arrived with no glitches that i could tell. its a great computer and is designed very well. i couldnt be happier.

I believe that Dell is a good company and I use their products daily.. the one thing that I would mention is their customer service people, not all of them but some are not from the USA and are very very hard to understand. Other than that, I am very happy with them.

My order, 123705175, was lost during shipment by Fedex and was re-entered by Dell customer service on 1/28/10. The tracking number for the lost order was not found in Fedex's system.

The on-line shopping experience at Dell was a good experience. The website is user friendly and I found the consumer comments VERY HELPFUL in deciding to purchase the additional cartridge for photos and the photo paper.
