I like the desk very much.....but I must say, some of the directions were a bit difficult and a few errors were also in the directions(like the wrong number shown on the pieces). It was missing one screw, but I was able to use one I had in the house. All in all, it's a nice desk and seems to be well worth the cost. Thanx.

I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. IT ARRIVED LATER THAN EXPECTED, BUT IT WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.I WAS EXPECTING TO OPEN AND INSPECT MY PRODUCT BEFORE ACCEPTING DELIVERY,HOWEVER,FED-EX DROPPED IT AT MY DOOR WHEN I WASN'T AT HOME.I HAD LEFT A NOTE ON THE DOOR ADDRESSED TO"FED-EX DELIVERY" TO LEAVE IT WITH A NEIGHBOR,WHO WOULD HAVE SIGNED AND INSPECTED THE DELIVERY BUT IT WAS IGNORED. FORTUNATELY ALL ENDED WELL.

The order arrived earlier than promised which was a nice surprise. The only thing I would have asked for differently is the assembly directions. There were photos but no description, some description would have helped a bit. Also, one corner of the cabinet was damaged in shipping. It was on the back though so I did not try to return the item. One assembled it seemed to be a very sturdy piece.

Merchandise was exactly as described and the price was comparable to stores in my area. The packages arrived on time and were not damaged. Purchase was easy and surprisingly hassle free for being on line.

Product was received damaged in a damaged carton. Was referred to Fedex on 8-13 to submit damage claim. On 8-17 Fedex assigned case number 0817506470 indicating they were researching. Also sent pictures and estimate to repair damage. Still waiting for Fedex to respond and am disappointed in the time it is taking to resolve.

there was not data as to the shipment date for over 5 days. when I went to cancel my order they then told me it was too late to cancel as the product was shipping. No notice has still been sent to me. Very poor customer service and information sharing. I will never shop at Cymax again

The iron was larger and heavier than I expected; I wanted it for travel, and it is nearly a full size iron. It may be a perfectly fine device, but it's not what I was looking for. I will return it.

It was not clear that this site/company is in Canada and I received an unexpected $21 foreign transaction fee on my credit card. However with the no tax and free shipping, I suppose it works out okay. I just would have liked a bit more information at the time of ordering that it might happen. All of the ship from dates and locations were from within the US, so that seems a bit odd.

Shipping expectations were misleading and not met. I read all the fine print on the shipping. My items were supposed to be delivered locally, then held in waiting to be all delivered together. Everything is coming in separate pieces even from the same store. UPS is the worst courier. They refuse to accomodate residential customers needs - dates, times, tracking, notification. They expect residential customers to be home from 9-5 Monday to Friday on the off chance that the delivery comes with no notification or appointment. Only working people can afford to buy furniture, and therefore, could not possibly be at home during business hours waiting on a daily basis for deliveries. I really like the furniture and prices on Cymax, but with shipping terms on the web site being drastically different than in reality, I would not be able to make purchases from Cymax in the future.

I gave the order tracking a "poor" rating because I tried to track my order but it said that it could not find my order. This was two days before my package came so the package was probably already in transit.

I ordered a coffee table/side table set from Cymax for 266 dollars and they said it would be shipped in a week. 2 weeks later I received the side table (94 dollars) and the coffee table was MIA.  I called them about it and I was told that it was on backorder for 4 months.  That is ridiculous so I told them to refund me for the coffee table.  Now I have a side table that matches nothing in my living room and what is worse is Cymax only wants to credit me 95 dollars for the coffee table that was undelivered (the table cost 168 dollars).  The customer service is slow and unknowledgeable, it really seems like they don't want to help.  Go to Overstock.com for fast reliable transactions - I already have my coffee table/side tables from them and still trying to straighten out this mess.  DO NOT SHOP AT CYMAX!

The merchandise was received earlier than expected and in excellant condition. The only real issue that I had with Cymax was that I was charged a Foreign Transaction Fee of $4 on my $139 purchase. I never was forewarned that this vendor was processing payment in Canada versus the US. It would have been nice to know that up-front. The merchandise was shipped out of California, so I only found out about the fee after the fact from my credit card company.

I ordered a baby crib from Cymax Stores, as a first time customer because they had free shipping and 25 in stock. A few days later I check into my account online with them and they said my crib would not be shipped for another several weeks.  I called to cancel and the customer service rep confirmed they had a backorder for several weeks.  Well, it turns out, they didn't cancel my order. Somehow, within hours of my call to cancel, they charged my credit card and mailed the crib to me.  It was a few days later, after I ordered a replacement crib from a reputable company, that I realized my order was not cancelled.  Cymax refuses to properly take care of this matter by waiving the shipping and delivery fees for sending the crib back.  They even wanted to charge me nearly $50 for a "restocking fee."  As far as I can tell, this company operates in the dark ages and despite what the recorded greeting says while one is on hold waiting to speak to them, they do not value the customer above all else.

The product I orderes was supposed to be shipped within a week. A week later I checked the order status online and it was stated that the expected shipping date was going to be in another month. I was never pro-actively notified about that by Cymax. I cancelled the order, but then I noticed that my credit card was already charged. Now I will probably have to make another call to request a rebate.
