On November 2, 2010, I placed an order for an Akai keyboard. The site indicated that the item was in stock and would ship within 2-3 days. On November 3, 2010, my credit card was charged for this purchase, and I received an e-mail confirmation that my order would ship shortly. Day after day I would check the status of my order, only to discover that it was still in processing and had not shipped. I called Customer Service after a week of this, and they said the product was out of stock and would not ship for weeks. When I asked them why they charged my credit card if they did not have my item in stock, and they said, "We didn't know it was out of stock until after we had charged your card."

I then got online to see if they still showed the keyboard in stock, and sure enough - they did.

When I did a search on complaints against Comp-U-Plus, it turns out that there are countless complaints about this company doing exactly what I am experiencing: Charging the customer for a product they claim they don't have, then either not shipping until weeks later or not shipping ever! I will never use this store again.
