friendly but slow service broken product with missing accessories.

I should start off by saying that every time I called the store due to my problems, the staff was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and helpful. The problem is I had to keep calling due to problems. I ordered an electric guitar from them. Since their online ordering system looks like it's from the 1970's, the email reply I got back was vague, so when I wrote to them to confirm my order, they confirmed that it was correct and that my guitar had to be sent from the store to the shipping center and it would take an extra couple days. I called to verify that I'd be recieving a "NEW IN-BOX" product, and the person, while very nice, didn't really know, he just said it was already being shipped and would be "good as new." Well to me when I pay full price it better be perfectly new. But in fact when I received the guitar, while it did LOOK new, it was not: the instruction manual, adjustment hex wrenches, and patch cord (which I did received from the store I eventually ordered from) were missing from the box, and the guitar worked only if you jiggled the patch cord a certain way (and I tested it with another cord from a neighbor). So I asked to return it and they said they would reorder me a new one, I'd have it in 2 weeks. Fine. In the meantime they even sent me a $10 gift card for my trouble, really nice! But 2 weeks later, I don't even have a shipping email, and their ordering web site gives you a blank screen when you click on an order number. So I call back and another very friendly person says he'll check with the manufacturer, and after a couple minutes he says the item is no longer available and good thing I called. Well yeah, I kinda half blame the manufacturer but in the end the results are: #1 I received a used, defective product with missing manual and missing parts, and #2 I never received the replacement, or even a notice that the replacement was unavailable. So I leave it up to you. I think paying full price and receiving a defective used floor model with missing manual and missing accessories is totally unacceptable no matter how nice the people are.
