Place your order in time to have turn up late, wrong and need to reorder
I ordered Christmas presents by the date that the web site stated was the last date for delivery by Christmas. The order did not arrive. The tracking system for the order did not work. When a parcel did arrive, late, it was someone else's order. Not only was my family's Christmas impacted, so was some one else's family. There was no docket in the package to trace the other order, goodness knows how they will work that order out. I sent one message and was sent a prompt e-mail that promised nothing. When the parcel arrived I sent a second e-mail (the toll free number does not work) and received a curt e-mail saying they would replace the order (which to me is just filling my order) and hoped that would make up for the inconvenience. How can filling your order correctly and a month late possibly make up for the disappointment. I have sent a third e-mail and am waiting on a reply. Not likely to use them again. It's a pity because not for profit organisations use Cafepress to raise money. I reckon there's room in this space for an efficient, courteous competitor to Cafepress to do well.
