Waiting 25+ days for credit at bloomingdales.com
I ordered and received a pair of $316 shoes and shipped them back to Bloomingdales.com when they did not fit. No return label had been included in the shipment so I called Customer Service and they emailed me a USPS label I made a trip to the post office and used the label, insured the shipment and mailed it back. Two weeks later, no credit had been issued to my account. When I called customer service, they then said it could be "up to 25 days before one is issued credit" and they would do nothing until the 25 days have passed to even attempt to locate the item (online is says clearly credit is issued 7-10 days after receipt of the item and it does not take 2 weeks to get a package to them). They told me that I had to go to the post office myself and have them show proof of delivery (this means an hour off work for this trip) and only then would they look in their warehouse for my return. I order from other big retailers and have never had to wait up to 25 days to get credit nor been told that they will not help locate the return until 25 days has passed. I will never again shop online at Bloomingdales.com as Neiman Marcus, Saks and Nordstroms have the same products and are wonderful to deal with when you have to return an item.
