I've had numerous problems with the Apple Store online. First, I received a gift purchased there, and got run-around by customer service on the phone who would not let me return the item, though I had a receipt. Their alternative was to issue a credit back to the person who bought me the gift, then have me ask that person to buy me something else, which isn't exactly an option! Finally, I took the item to a physical apple store in the mall and was able to get return the item and get a gift-card instead.
The online store also has a poor technical layout (pages "time out" very quickly), higher prices than other places, and the issues with customer service remain.
If I didn't have this gift-card, I wouldn't bother shopping with them again. Just go to amazon.com. You'd get better prices, free shipping on $25, not $50 as with Apple, good customer service, and easy returns.
I would not shop here again
