Terrible customer service

I placed almost a$1000 order on apple.com. Didn't receive any confirmation. Went to apple store to check the status of the order. It turned out that Apple had problems with my credit card. However I was not informed about the problems while placing the order. Was offered to create an Apple account in order to correct the problem. Tried to create the account twice with different e-mail addresses and passwords. None of them got associated with my order. Called 1-800-MY APPLE. First time your automated assistant who "can understand full sentences" said that all the representatives were busy and could not assist me and ended the call. The second time I was on hold for 30 minutes and then got disconnected. The third time after 30 minutes on hold I was told to call during regular office hours but nobody told me what those hours were. And by the way your web site says that you assist customers 24/7. Shame on Apple. I tried to purchace an Apple product for the first time and already regret. I ordered a computer from Toshiba direct on the same day. None of the problems occurred. I wish I ordered their tablet. If your iPads work as bad as Apple's customer service I would rather cancel the order and order from Toshiba.
